Crochet

I decided to teach myself how to crochet during some down time whilst on-set in June 2019 and have since really gotten into this. Below you can see examples of my progress.

The Beanie Collection - I started above learning how to do the slip knot then the chain stitch, continued by turning the work chaining two and repeating the pattern with a half double crochet stitch. I used this technique for creating a collection of beanies. To join the piece together I used a slip stitch which can been seen below with the navy yarn. All the beanies were made using a 6 mm and 8 mm crochet hook. I also made pom poms for each beanies and sewed them on. The final photo shows the finished results.

Crochet Fade Cushion Cover - Using the same technique as before I created two crocheted pieces. I slip stitched these together leaving the opening for me to place the pillow inside before finishing the stitch.
