With a business background having coordinated workshops and events, she found herself wanting to scratch that creative itch... 

Now based in NZ, Sabrina Shaw retrained in Costume (Toi Whakaari NZ Drama School) after working in film and theatre both in NZ and the UK. She has worked in roles such as Costumier, Art Director, Set Decorator, and Actor in a number of productions. 

These include the 'Avatar' sequel, Freedom Fighter (Toi film), World of Wearable Arts. Aotearoa productions 'Land of the Long Long Drive', 'Les Misérables' and 'Wicked', and UK productions 'William Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play', 'Ballet Black', 'Touched',' Noises Off', 'The Kite Runner'. 

She particularly enjoys working in film, hand sewing (detailed work), millinery, breakdown/distressing costumes, and working with leather and Worbla.
